“December — The Time for Festive Cheer & Office Fun!”
“The holidays are a time to celebrate and reflect on the year that has passed. At our office, we decided to do just that. Holidays always bring in time for many of us to come together and celebrate the joy of the season.
The month of December in LiftOff was filled with a variety of activities. From LiftOff Luncheon to Christmas Decorations to Donation to Secret Santa, there was something for everyone to get involved in.
The first activity of the month was The LiftOff Luncheon. We rang in December by taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the workday to appreciate each other and the successes of the year. Most of the folks from throughout India were present for the lunch along with our 2 directors. It was a memory to cherish for every one of us as it was full of contentment and cheerfulness.
The second activity was decorating the office for Christmas. We put up a Christmas tree and hung some lights around the office. We also added a few festive decorations to the walls and desks. This made the office look cheerful and made it feel like the holidays. During the middle of the month, we started with a Donation drive where we encouraged each one to bring in their old or worn-out denim to be sent over to the poor and needy which will be converted to blankets that can be used to cover themselves from harsh Delhi weather. To celebrate the end of the year, we finished it with Secret Santa. We exchanged gifts, and everyone got to pick out a gift for someone else in the office. It was a great way to show appreciation for each other and end the year on a high note.
Finally, we ended the last working day with a special holiday party. We had great food, a holiday trivia game, and of course, revealing who was each one’s Santa and Angel. Everyone had a great time and it was a wonderful way to celebrate the season. Overall, it was a great month to be cherished and kept as a fond memory. We had so much fun celebrating the holiday season!!”
